  • Preferred Payment Currency
  • Bank Details (This will vary depending on your location and currency, and may include: IBAN, BIC/SWIFT code, Bank Name, Account Number, Bank Address)

  • Freelance Agreement acceptance date

  • IP address, browser type, operating system, and other technical details collected automatically when you access our website/platform.

3. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

  • To onboard you as a tutor.
  • To administer the Freelance Agreement.
  • To manage communications related to your work.

  • Payment Processing:
  • To verify hours worked with our Partner(s)
  • To process payments accurately and on time, including issuing self-billed invoices (if applicable).
  • To comply with tax and accounting obligations.

  • Operational and Support Purposes:

  • To ensure compliance with operational and behavioral guidelines as outlined in the Freelance Agreement.
  • To monitor the performance of the freelance services and make sure everything is running as wanted.

4. LEGAL BASES FRO PROCESSING

We only process your personal information when we have a valid legal basis to do so under the GDPR, including:
  • Performance of a Contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR): Processing is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you as outlined in the Freelance Agreement, such as managing your account, processing payments, and providing support.

  • Tutor-Europe: Our Estonia-based affiliate company, which processes payments and manages the contractual relationship with tutors.

  • Cloud storage providers (e.g., Google Cloud).
  • Email marketing platforms (e.g., Brevo).
  • Background check providers (if applicable).
